It has been far too long since I last posted but life has been keeping me extremely distracted and busy. I recently found both time and the inspiration to push pixels again and the following is a glimpse of what I created. The first abstraction is from the Apex series and the second is from the Descent series created this week.

Quiescence - New Digital Abstraction

Completed Quiescence today & uploaded it into my ArtWanted gallery. Enjoyed playing with this one a lot as I pushed pixels and tinkered with the different layers. I love the depth & mood conveyed by this image.

Deadly Beauty - New Socio-Political Digital Abstraction Series

A foray into socio-political art, done my way. This is a new digital abstraction series I completed yesterday.I've included my original digital photograph that I worked with because it is important and valid on its own but also explains the inspiration and my motivation for creating the series. I took the photograph this past Saturday afternoon as we were walking around the park that is situated directly across the street from our house. My son has played in the baseball diamond where that sign was posted. We walk our dog around that park. People will soon be playing softball in that ball diamond.

New Cavern Blossoms Series

Here is a look at two pieces from the new Cavern Blossoms series I recently completed. They are abstract digital paintings, as opposed to photomanipulations. I chose a vibrant, cheerful palette for this series, and I'm extremely pleased with the entire set of images.
