The Rorschach inkblot test is an archaic method of psychological evaluation used to try to examine the personality characteristics and emotional functioning of a person. What is the rorschach failure project?

"People keep asking me to define this project & I know I need to write something here & tell you what its all about...the problem is I don't know that I can define the rorschach failure project anymore...nor do I know if I want to.

To use a famous line...ask a thousand people & you will get a thousand different answers as to what we're about.

This place is about people & the arts...can either truly be defined?

I promised myself when I started this project that id start with a few boundaries & just allow it to become what ever it became.

The idea was to simply birth a place that enabled people to be free. A place that encouraged, informed, supported, inspired, challenged & loved; a place that broke down social conditioning & expectations & allowed people to be who they truly are.

A place where fame & names were inconsequential, but where creativity & passion reigned supreme.

There are 2 things we will always be about...the arts & honouring women. We will never deviate from these two things, having said that ive realised we now encompass so much more."

Spring Comes Alive With Digital Blossoms

Several members of Worldwide Women Artists Online, in response to an invitation from fellow member KKC Bauder, have joined together to display their digital creations in the Garden of Digital Delights. The virtual garden is alive with a selection of beautifully photographed, manipulated and artfully rendered blooms. Each artist has her own unique style, ranging from realism to abstract expression.

The garden is presented by Art and Gold Gallery in association with WWAO (Worldwide Women Artists Online) and features the artwork of the following artisans: Eva Barkman, , KKC Bauder, Lynda Lehmann, Sylvia Outlaw, B.Y. Penman, Sharon K. Shubert, Deborah Voizin, and Linda Watson.

This Calls For Sushi & Fine Art

I’ve been burning the midnight oil the past couple of weeks, working on my Squidoo lenses and tinkering with my blog layout. I noticed I’ve been in the Leading Lensemaster rotation on the Squidoo home page this week. It was a pleasant surprise.

I managed to create the Deadly Beauty abstraction series in the midst of all the other Web tinkering. Though, on the flip side, my writing has dropped off. Tonight, I realized I’ve nearly drained myself dry creatively. It’s time to refuel and recharge. This calls for a generous dose of Sushi & fine art.

Later this afternoon, I’ll be heading into Vancouver with my husband. It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Vancouver Art Gallery. I’m looking forward to looking at the work of other artists and seeking inspiration. The gallery is currently showing the photography of Fred Herzog. As I’ve been branching out a bit with my digital photography, I’m very interested in viewing Fred Herzog’s work.

I’m hoping to get back on track with my writing and would like to create some new haiga over the next few weeks. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of two sets of limited edition ACEO cards I’ve just recently had printed. When ready, I’ll be numbering and signing each limited edition card and offering them for sale through the blog and my web site.
